When Jesus said, “The Father and I are one,” He expressed the truth of your unity with the Father. You and the Father are one.

This is not a goal that you can aspire to reach. This is truth.

Unity with the Father is not a special dispensation given to Jesus because He was special. Unity with the Father is a divine truth given to all of us because we are all special.

In the parable of the Prodigal Son, Luke 15:11-32, Jesus beautifully illustrated this truth of “Unity with the Father.” The younger brother “went off to the far country.” After cutting himself off from his father, he was feeding hogs for a living. This symbolizes life at its lowest level. I t could mean failure and poverty and illness. It could even mean health and wealth with an accompanying lack of meaning, confusion, and frustrations. After spending or losing all that he had, the younger brother came back. When he came back, the father feasted, robed, bejeweled, and embraced him. The father did not punish him. Like our Father in heaven, he cannot hate his son. When the younger brother realized his Unity with the father, he, once again, shared in his father’s abundance.

The older brother, however, became angry and told his father, “Look, all these years I served you and not once did I disobey your orders, yet you never gave me even a young goat to feast on with my friends. But when your son returns, who swallowed up your property with prostitutes, for him you slaughter the fattened calf.” (Luke 15:28-30)

Although the older brother was always home with the father, he did not share in his father’s abundance because he did not realize his Unity with his father. The father told the older brother, “My son, you are here with me always; everything I have is yours.” (Luke 15:31)

The older brother, although he stayed with his father, was really the “prodigal son” at heart. Not realizing his unity with the father, he was experiencing “lack” in the midst of his father's wealth. He could have had a fattened calf, a ring, and a robe, if he asked for it.

God, the Father, is always with you and all that is His is yours. Listen to what He says. “My son, you are here with me always; everything I have is yours.” (Luke 15:31)

All you have to do to share in your Father’s abundance is ask for it. Like the older brother, you are a “prodigal” at heart. Although you are always with the Father and united with the Father, you chose to live in the “far country” by going out from a sense of oneness with the Father.

When are you going to come home and claim your inheritance?

What happens when you lose your sense of oneness with the Father? You cut yourself off from the inheritance of your Father’s abundant Kingdom and you begin to experience lack and illness. Confused, you will try to look for your Father in rituals and superstitions. Frustrated, you will pray in a manner that attempts to coax a miracle from a reluctant Father. Lonely, you will pray in tones that remind the Father that he is, supposed to be, Almighty. You will be urging Him to come and help you “flip the switch” to erase the darkness around you. Like the fish in the ocean that is looking for water and dies of thirst, you will die poor and ill swimming in an ocean of abundance in your Father’s Kingdom. The truth is: “You and the Father are one. Everything that the Father has is yours.”

Say with full candor the following affirmations:
I begin this day realizing that the Father and I are one.
I am heir to God’s abundant Kingdom and I claim my rightful inheritance now, for it is the Father’s good pleasure to give me His Kingdom. Amen.

Ever thought why the rich are getting richer? It is God’s will that you become wealthy. So, let God. It is God’s will that you become healthy. So, let God. It is God’s will that you become happy. So, let God. Jesus, Himself, says that it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom HERE and NOW. The time is not some time later, but NOW. The place is not some place out there, but HERE. The Kingdom is not outside you. Listen to what Jesus says. “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:20 NIV)

The Kingdom of God is at hand. The Kingdom of God is here and now.

Many of us will spend our lives looking for God and His Kingdom out there, somewhere out there. Many of us will not find the Kingdom because we are looking for it at all the wrong places. If we continue to do this, we will be like the fish in the ocean that dies of thirst. We will, likewise, die thirsting for God’s blessings not knowing that the water of God’s abundance is all around and inside us.

Make your affirmations many times every day. Affirm the truth that you are a child of God. Affirm the truth that you are heir to God’s abundant Kingdom. Affirm the truth that God made you in His image. Affirm the truth that you are perfect as the Father in heaven is perfect.

Affirm the truth with sincerity. Affirm the truth that it is God’s will that you become rich. Affirm the truth that it is God’s will that you become healthy. Affirm the truth that it is God’s will that you become happy. Affirm the truth that it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom here and now.

Affirming the truth renews your mind and transforms you from being a non-believer to a believer. You are heir to God’s abundant Kingdom. Claim your inheritance now.

These affirmations are exercises that will strengthen your truth muscles. Soon, you will be strong enough to walk with it. Then, you will be strong enough to run with it. Like a child learning how to walk, you will stumble and fall at the start. You may even get a few scrapes on your knees. Just like the child, you will soon learn to walk and then run. Who knows, you may even “grow wings and fly.”

You are a child of God. You are heir to God’s abundant Kingdom. This is the truth that will set you free. Claim your inheritance now.

Affirmations:
1. I am a precious worthy creation of God.
2. I am a creation of God created in his own image.
3. I am perfect as God the Father in heaven is perfect.
4. I am perfect in health. The energy and healing power of God is flowing continuously through every cell of my body.
5. I am heir to God’s abundant Kingdom and I claim my inheritance now.
6. I am perfect and wise. God has given me the wisdom of the past, the present, and the future for my own benefit and enrichment and for the benefit and enrichment of all humankind through me. I am perfect and rich. All of God’s wealth is mine. God has given me the commitment and competence in my work. God has given me the dedication and efficiency in all other wealth-producing activities.
7. I am perfect and peaceful. All of God’s love is in my heart and in every heart of all humankind. I have forgiven and forgotten. I am facing the present and the future with courage and great expectation of all that is good.
8. I am perfect and happy. All of God’s gifts make all of humankind and me happy. I am enjoying to the fullest every exciting moment of my life like a child on Christmas morning.
9. I affirm all of these because they are true.
10. I am who I am. Amen.

I thank you, Lord, for the wisdom, health, wealth, happiness, love, and peace that you have given me and have given the world through me. Amen.

Next posting will tell you that you and the Father are one.

Seventh Lesson: How Affirmation Works

This is how affirmation works. The conscious (earth) mind makes the affirmation. Every affirmation made by the conscious mind will imprint into your subconscious (heaven) mind the truth of the affirmation. Your affirmations become more powerful if you make it with feeling and emotion. Be sure to put pictures into your affirmations. When you affirm health, see yourself doing things if you have perfect health. When you affirm wealth, see yourself doing things if you have perfect wealth. When you affirm happiness, see yourself doing things if you have perfect joy.

The quality of things imprinted in your “heaven” mind will determine your quality of life on earth. If you affirm that you are a child of God, created in His image, and loved with an everlasting love, you will be a loving person. A loving person projects a positive aura and attracts to himself a positive environment.

If you affirm that you are a child of God, perfect as the Father is perfect, you will have a high self-esteem. When you have high self-esteem, you will react positively to the challenges of everyday life.

People with high self-esteem are fun to be with and are more successful in their endeavors. Oftentimes, we say that they have high self-esteem because they are successful. The truth is: they are successful because they have high self-esteem.

If your affirmation clearly imprints in your “heaven” mind that you are perfect and healthy, you will react to things around you in a manner that healthy people do. You will be active, you will eat the right foods, and you will exercise.

If your “heaven” mind has a picture of a healthy you, the “heaven” mind will cause you to do things that will validate the picture of a healthy you.

If your affirmation clearly imprints in your “heaven” mind that you are perfect and rich, you will react to things around you in a manner that rich people do. You will recognize opportunities to make more money. You will recognize opportunities to get a better job.
If your “heaven” mind has a picture of a wealthy you, the “heaven” mind will cause you to do things that will validate the picture of a wealthy you.

The transformation is automatic. The transformation happens as if the whole universe is conspiring to make things happen for you.

Affirmation is a powerful prayer. It is a prayer believing that you will receive. Jesus says, “Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours.” (Mark 11:24)

Next posting will tell you how to stake your claim.

kingdom,Gospel,religion,proverbs,bible

Sixth Lesson: Affirmations For Renewal

Here are some affirmations you can use to start your renewal.

I am a child of God.

I am a child of God created in the image of God.

I am perfect as the Father in heaven is perfect.

I am perfect in health. All of God’s gifts make all of humanity and me happy.

I affirm all of these because they are true.

I thank you, Lord, for all these gifts. Make these affirmations until they become part of your subconscious. Start by making these affirmations once when you wake up in the morning, as many times as you can during the day, and once before you go to bed at night.

When you are making each affirmation, be sure to say it in a manner that you can hear it. If you don’t want people to say that you are going crazy -- talking to yourself, be sure that you are alone when you do this. There will come a time when you can just “think it” and hear yourself making the affirmation. You can use “affirmation beads” to help you concentrate. But, you may ask: How does affirmation work?

Our next posting will give you an answer to that question.

GOSPEL ACCORDING TO YOU series

Religion and Philosophy,Israel,Gospel,Gospel According to You

Fifth Lesson: Truth And Affirmations

Affirmation of truth is the best way to renew your mind.
Following are some of the false beliefs that you must wipe out from your consciousness:

False belief: God will punish me when I am bad.

Truth: God loves me with an everlasting love.

False belief: It is the will of God that I am poor.

Truth: It is the will of God for me to be rich because I am heir to his abundant kingdom.

False belief: I may be suffering now, but I will get reward in the Kingdom of Heaven when I die.

Truth: God’s abundant Kingdom is here and now.

False belief: I was born a miserable sinner with the sin of Adam, unworthy of the love of God.

Truth: I am a child of God, made perfectly as He is perfect, and whom He loves with an everlasting love.

False belief: The Father has not answered my prayers because I have not prayed loud, often, and long enough.

Truth: I shall pray knowing that the Father knows of what I need even before I ask for it.

Truth will wipe out false beliefs the same way that light will wipe out darkness. When you go into a dark room and walk around the room without turning on the light, you will stumble and fall. The truth that will give you the light is “flip the switch.” Yet, you do not flip the switch. Your false belief tells you that if you pray long enough, the god of electricity will have pity on you and flip the switch for you; if you pray loud enough, the god of electricity will hear you and flip the switch for you. Your false belief tells you that if you pray often enough, the god of electricity will come down and flip the switch for you. It is no wonder you are still stumbling and falling.

There is nothing too complicated about the truth. It is so simple: “Flip The Switch.” Don’t wait for God to come down and flip the switch of life for you. Flip the switch. It is so easy. Jesus taught us the simple and easy way. Just do it! Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you . . . For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

He didn’t say, “Come to me, all you who are suffering, suffer some more, work hard, do not rest.” What He said was, “Come, my suffering brother, suffer no more because I am teaching you the easy way to abundant life. My way is the easy way.”

The easy way is to affirm the truth. Things do not become true, however, just because you affirm them. You affirm them because they are true. The way to renew your mind is through affirmations. Renewing is like reprogramming. You take the old program out and put the new program in. You reprogram your mind through the affirmation of truth.

Next posting will show you examples of some affirmations that you can use to start your renewal process.

GOSPEL ACCORDING TO YOU series

Religion and Philosophy,Israel,Gospel,Gospel According to You

Fourth Lesson: How To Be Wealthy, Healthy and Happy

You need to be transformed from a non-believer to a believer. You are a non-believer if you believe that God can love you only if you are good and He will punish you if you are bad.

You are a believer, however, if you believe that God loves you with an everlasting love whether you are good or bad. The bad things that happen in your life are not God’s punishment for your sins. These bad things happen every time you refuse to accept God’s everlasting love for you.
Unfortunately, your orthodox Christian upbringing led you to believe that God doles out punishment when you sin. The same culture gave you a picture of a God that doles out punishment as illness, poverty, bad luck, and broken marriages. The same culture has led you to believe that when you die with sin, your punishment will be eternity in a place called Hell. Eternal damnation is a very long time.

Your well-meaning teachers have led you to believe that you deserve this punishment because you have been bad. Now, is that a picture of a loving Father? Is this a picture of a Father whose good pleasure is “to give you the Kingdom?” Is this a picture of a Father who loves you with an everlasting love?

The truth is: you are a beloved child of God and because God loves you with an everlasting love, God gave you all the tools that you can use to achieve prosperity, health, and happiness. What have you done, so far, with these gifts? You have, undoubtedly, continued to refuse to use these tools properly. As a result of your refusal to use these tools properly, you are poor, ill, and unhappy. God has nothing to do with your sufferings. Your sufferings are by-products of your choices.

“... decide today whom you will serve.” (Joshua 24:15)

God, our Father, has provided us with all the tools for living. In His ministry, Jesus dedicated himself to teaching us the proper way to use these tools for living.

What is incomprehensible is that you still believe that every time you refuse to use the tools properly, God comes down to punish you.

For example: You gave two people a pair of shoes each. You told them to cross a dry river bed that was a hundred meters wide. On the river bed were razor-sharp stones with jagged edges that could cut flesh. One crossed the river bed with his shoes on. The other crossed the river without his shoes on. The person who wore his shoes reached the other side of the river without injury. The one who crossed the river without shoes suffered lacerations and injuries to his feet. When you saw the one who crossed the river without shoes, did you go and punish that person and cause his foot to suffer lacerations and injury? No, you did not. He, himself, caused his own lacerations and injuries. Yet, many of us believe that God is constantly watching us, and with every little mistake that we make, He comes down and punishes us.

If you continue to believe that God is always watching you and making a list of who is naughty or nice, you are a non-believer. To become a believer, you must follow what Apostle Paul said in his letter to the Romans: Renew your mind.

Nest posting will give you the necessary tools for the renewal of your mind.

GOSPEL ACCORDING TO YOU series

Religion and Philosophy,Israel,Gospel,Gospel According to You

Third Lesson: Know That You Are Heir To God's Abundant Kingdom

Where is God’s abundant kingdom? Is it somewhere up there? Teachers of Christian doctrine are telling us of the “coming of the Kingdom” at the second coming of Christ. Sign of this second coming, they say, is the destruction of the present civilization and the ushering of a new heaven. “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth ... Behold, I make all things new.” (Revelation 21:1, 5)

Since the early times of religious history, men have rationalized the hardships and sufferings of this life by dreaming of a future life where all will be perfect. In other words, we have to accept the sufferings and the inequities of this life hoping for our coming to God’s kingdom in the afterlife. We make reference to this place as the Kingdom of God, Heaven, or Kingdom of Heaven. No matter how we may reference it, however, it is still a kingdom somewhere, sometime in the future, reachable only after we die.

Jesus of Nazareth, however, was quite specific when he talked about the kingdom. He said that the kingdom of Heaven is ‘at hand.’ The phrase “at hand” means “here and now.”

“The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:20 NIV)

Jesus is saying that the Kingdom of God is not here or there. The Kingdom of God is within you. The abundant Kingdom of God, of which you are an heir, is within you. Like the prodigal son’s father, God says to you: “... my son, you are here with me always; everything I have is yours.” (Luke 15:31)

The Kingdom of God is inside you. You don’t have to wait until after you die in order to experience the abundance of God’s Kingdom. You can experience the abundance of God’s Kingdom now. Would the Father give it to you? Jesus said: “... your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom.” (Luke 12:32)

God will give you His Kingdom because He is your Father and you are heir to His abundant Kingdom. It is His pleasure to give you the Kingdom NOW. It pleases Him to make you rich, healthy, and happy NOW.

If it is God’s pleasure to give you the Kingdom, why are you poor, sick, and unhappy?

Your answer will be in the next posting: How To Be Wealthy, Healthy, and Happy.

GOSPEL ACCORDING TO YOU series

Religion and Philosophy,Israel,Gospel,Gospel According to You

Second Lesson: Know Your Father

By the way, who is this God that we call Father?

If we look at the Old Testament concept of God, He is portrayed as a God of the skies, a God of wrath.

While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was discovered gathering wood on the Sabbath day. . . Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘This man shall be put to death; let the whole community stone him outside the camp.’ So the whole community led him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the Lord had commanded Moses. (Numbers 15:32-36)

Or He is a God of vengeance as portrayed in the prayer of King David asking vengeance upon his enemies: “
May his children be fatherless, his wife, a widow. May his children be vagrant beggars, driven from their hovels. May the usurer snare all he owns, strangers plunder all he earns. May no one treat him kindly or pity his fatherless children ...” (Psalms 109:9-12, 20)

If you believe that your Father God is as cruel as the God of Moses, you will live a life that is full of fear. If you believe that your Father God is as vengeful as the God of David, you will live a life that is full of hate. Is this the kind of life that you are living now?

If you believe that your Father God is capricious and unjust, you will be a child that is selfish and unkind.

Fortunately, the God of Moses and David is not the God of Jesus. Unlike the God of David, the God of Jesus is a loving Father who tells us, through Jesus, to love our enemies.
“... love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you ...” (Matthew 5:44)

Unlike the God of Moses who gave up man for the Sabbath, the God of Jesus, through Jesus, said: “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.” (Mark 2:27)

Jesus had discovered that Father God is a loving Father. Realizing that He was a beloved child of God, He established His unity with the Father. In His ministry, unity with the Father had been the central theme of His teachings. Once you realize that you are also a beloved child of God, you will also establish your unity with the Father. Jesus said, “Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these.” (John 14:12)

In other words, Jesus was saying, “If you believe in me and learn what I am teaching you, you will be able to do all the works that I have done. Once you discover your unity with our Father, like I did, you may even do more.”

This is the greatest discovery of all times. Once you accept this great discovery, you will be able to build your personal relationship with the Father on a solid foundation.

“And everyone who listens to these words of mine but does not act on them will be like a fool who built his house on sand.” (Matthew 7:26)

You must recognize the truth of your spiritual unity with God. You must accept that you are God’s beloved child and are heir to His abundant kingdom. When you do, wisdom, wealth, health, happiness, and abundant life will come to you as naturally as the air you breathe. Abundant life is a natural outcome of this great discovery. You are spiritually united with God, the Father, and co-heir with Jesus to God’s abundant kingdom.

This is the true message of the teachings of Jesus. Are you listening?

Knowledge, however, will not do you any good until you put your knowledge into action; and, action means doing.

Paul, in his letter to the Romans, said: “...
be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.” (Romans 12:2)

Next Posting: Third Lesson: Know That You Are Heir To God's Abundant Kingdom

GOSPEL ACCORDING TO YOU series

Religion and Philosophy,Israel,Gospel,Gospel According to You

First Lesson: Know That You Are A Child Of God

As far as we can remember, we have always called God, our Father.

The problem is that we attribute to Father God the characteristics of a human father. Because of this, we think that Father God loves us when we are good, and hates us when we are bad. We have come to believe that God punishes us when we are bad “for our own good,” just like our human father does.

In the story of the prodigal son, the father didn’t punish the son. When the son came home, “... his father caught sight of him, and was filled with compassion. He ran to his son, embraced him and kissed him.” (Luke 15:20) Then, the father put the best robe on him, put a ring on his finger, shoes on his feet, killed a fattened calf and had a feast in his honor.

Father God is love everlasting -- love yesterday, love today, love tomorrow, and love forever.

The truth is, that you are a child of a Father who cannot hate you.

The truth is, that you are a child of a Father who is supportive.

The truth is, that you are a child of a Father who is not vindictive.

You are a child of God. You are a child created in the image of the Father. Because the father created you in his own image, you are like the Father. Celebrate your childship by letting the Father be God in you. Let the Father express Himself as you and you will do wonderful things. Just as your brother, Jesus, did wonderful things, you will also do wonderful things. Jesus said, “Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these...” (John 14:12)

Establish your divine childship of the Father by declaring: “I am a beloved child of God, made perfect as the Father in heaven is perfect.”

Knowing that you are a beloved child of God is the first step towards your unity with the Father.

GOSPEL ACCORDING TO YOU series

Religion and Philosophy,Israel,Gospel,Gospel According to You

The Light That Shines In Your Heart

One Gospel passage may mean a hundred different things to a hundred different people.

This is one of the many reasons why we have so many religious denominations and why, even within a denomination, members of a congregation tend to disagree with one another.

It is not surprising that you will even find disagreement within your own heart.

“Gospel According To You” is the light that will shine in your heart to let you see and experience the Gospel as it is meant to be--good tidings.

The Apostle Paul, Saul of Tarsus, saw these disagreements among members of the many churches of his time. As a result, he wrote many letters to the various churches. Most of Christian Theology was taken from the letters of Paul. Paul’s Theology, however, has resulted in the multiplication of Christian denominations instead of their unification.

Please remember that there is no Theology in “Gospel According To You”.

“Gospel According To You” is a series of blogs that will teach you how to achieve your full potential as a child of God.

If you were given a chance to start your life all over again, what kind of life would you like to have? You, probably, would have wanted to be born wealthy, healthy, handsome, pretty, smart, and talented.

What you will learn in “Gospel According To You” is that you were destined to be wealthy, healthy, handsome, pretty, smart, and talented. You will learn that, no matter what the circumstance of your birth was, you can be all that you want to be. For example, if you were born poor, you could be poor all your life, or you could be rich. It would be all up to you. If you were born rich, you could be rich all your life, or you could be poor. It would be all up to you. Contrary to old superstition, it is not God’s will that you become rich or poor. It is your will. That’s the truth.

God’s will for you never vary. God’s will for you never change. God’s will for you have always been perfection. God’s will for you have always been perfect knowledge and wisdom. God’s will for you have always been perfect wealth and health. God’s will for you have always been perfect love and peace. God’s will for you have always been perfect happiness and success. God’s will for you have always been all the good and perfect things that can be found in God’s abundant Kingdom. Jesus said that you can be “. . . perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48)

Furthermore, Jesus said, “Do not be afraid any longer, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom.” (Luke 12:32)

So, set your mind at ease. God wants you to be wealthy and wise. Do not be afraid. God wants you to be healthy and happy. Rejoice. God wants you to be full of love and success. Be glad. It pleases God to give you the Kingdom.

“Gospel According To You” will teach you how you can apply the lessons taught by Jesus to benefit you and the people you love.

“Gospel According To You” will teach you how you can apply the lessons taught by Jesus to benefit your community and your church. You can do all these. It looks easy but it is not. First, you must get rid of all your “possessions.”

In the story of the rich young ruler who wanted to follow Jesus and have eternal life, Jesus told him, “... go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” (Matthew 19:21)

Like the rich young ruler, you have great “possessions.” These “possessions” are: false beliefs, superstitions, cynicism, and unbelief. Rid yourself of these great “possessions” and you will be on your way to the Kingdom.

You have false beliefs and have little faith when you say that it is God’s will that you are poor, sick, and unhappy. Jesus said,
“If God so clothes the grass of the field, which grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, O you of little faith?” (Matthew 6:30)

You have superstitions when you believe that you can influence God by wearing pious faces and by saying loud and repetitious prayers. Jesus said, “In praying, do not babble like the pagans, who think that they will be heard because of their many words. . . . When you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites. They neglect their appearance, so that they may appear to others to be fasting.” (Matthew 6:7 and 16)

You have cynicism when you believe that all new idea is suspect. Jesus said, “Stop judging, that you may not be judged. For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you.” (Matthew 7:1-2)

You have unbelief when you believe that you are a miserable sinner and unworthy of the love of God. God said to us through Jeremiah, “I have loved you with an everlasting love.” (Jeremiah 31:3 NIV)

If Jesus were to come today and look at what’s happening now, He will find a religion built around Him. Moreover, He will find a religion that prays to God through Him. Furthermore, He will find a religion that worships and adores Him. If Jesus were to come today, He will be greeted by us who calls Him “Good Master.” Like the young man in the New Testament, we will all be rebuked by Jesus for calling Him “Good.” “Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone.” (Mark 10:18)

We worship Him and call Him “Good Master,” yet we have not learned the lessons that he taught. If He was here today, would He be glad?

There was a young store owner whose store was losing money. He finally sought the advice of a teacher. The teacher found out that the store owner didn’t know arithmetic. For example, if somebody bought $8 worth of merchandise and gave him $10, he would give change of $7. No wonder he was losing money.
The teacher taught him the basics of arithmetic and showed him that if somebody buys $8 worth of merchandise and gave him $10, he would give him $2 change instead of $7. The store owner was amazed at this knowledge. He became an admirer of the teacher. He honored him and practically worshipped him. Later on, however, when somebody bought $8 worth of merchandise, and gave him $10, he would give $7 change. The store owner wondered, “How come I am losing money? Don’t I honor and worship my teacher?”

The above story is no different from the story of our relationship with Jesus. We are very busy worshipping Him that we have forgotten to apply the lessons that He has taught us.
In “Gospel According To You,” you will learn what it means to be a “child of God.” Likewise, you will learn what it means to be an heir to God’s abundant Kingdom and how you can claim your rightful inheritance.

“Do not be afraid any longer, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom.” (Luke 12:32)

You will also learn that God loves you with an everlasting love and you will learn how to experience that love at all times.

“I have loved you with an everlasting love.” (Jeremiah 31:3 NIV)

You will also learn that you were born to be wealthy, healthy, and happy. You will learn the lessons that will help you achieve wealth, health, and happiness.

You will learn that it is a sin to be poor. You will learn that it is a sin to be sick. You will learn that it is a sin to be unhappy.

You will also learn that God answers all your prayers. Because God answers all your prayers in the manner that you ask Him, you will need to learn how to pray correctly. Many of our prayers are wrong.

When we pray for health, we would unknowingly pray for illness. “Gospel According To You” will teach you how to pray correctly for the things that you want in your life and in the lives of the people you love.

Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours.(Mark 11:24)

In “Gospel According To You”, you will learn how you can build and design your own made-to-order future -- wealthy, healthy, successful, and loveful future.

Furthermore, you will learn the lessons that can help you overcome your addiction. You can overcome your addiction to smoking, overeating, sex, drug, alcohol, and many others. You will learn that addiction can never have dominion over you, because you. . . “... have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and the cattle, and over all the wild animals and all the creatures that crawl on the ground.” (Genesis 1:26)

This is the first day of your Eternal Now.

GOSPEL ACCORDING TO YOU series

Religion and Philosophy,Israel,Gospel,Gospel According to You

Gospel According To You

Gospel According To You is a unique blog. You can use the lessons learned from this blog to be everything that you want to be.

Gospel According To You will be your guide in creating miracles in your own life and in the lives of people around you.

It is not by accident that you found this blog now. Somehow, you have prayed for it and because you have prayed for it, your prayer was answered.

Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours. (Mark 11:24)

A long time ago, a wise man said, “The teacher will come when the student is ready.” You are ready.

WARNING: The contents of this blog may be shockingly revealing. It is a blog of new but long-established REVELATIONS. These revelations may have been wittingly, out of design and spiritual dishonesty, suppressed by our parents, teachers, and religious leaders. On the other hand, these revelations may have been unwittingly, due to ignorance, suppressed by the same well-intentioned people.

Most of the revelations in this blog may run contrary to the lessons we have learned from our conservative, orthodox, or antiquated religious upbringing. Those “old lessons” need to be learned anew from a perspective that will bring us closer to the truth as taught by Jesus of Nazareth. These “new lessons” are not aimed to destroy our beliefs; these are intended to fulfill them. These new lessons will give us the knowledge to clarify some of the many inconsistencies and contradictions found in the Bible. These new lessons will open our hearts and minds to the truth about our true relationship with God.

Around 2,000 years ago, a Child was born in Bethlehem. They called Him Jesus. Thirty years later, He started His ministry. A short time into His ministry, the establishment crucified Him like a common criminal.

During His ministry, Jesus lectured to the Jews and the Gentiles. His lectures covered every aspect of living. He taught us how we could become, in His own words, “perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect” (Matthew 5:48).

See! This is one of those shocking revelations mentioned earlier. You are shocked to learn that you can be “perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.” You are shocked because you have been taught to believe in the lie that you could never be perfect because you were born with the “original sin” of Adam. Likewise, it is a lie that you could never be perfect because you are a miserable sinner destined for eternal damnation. Furthermore, it is a lie that you could never be perfect because you are not worthy of the love of the Father.

The words of Jesus, however, will liberate you from these lies, false beliefs, and superstitions. Listen to Him now. Jesus says,

“Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” (Matthew 25:34)

You can hear the invitation of Jesus, yet you refuse to come to Him because you are confused by the heavy burden of your many false beliefs and superstitions.
Jesus, however, is persistent in His invitation.

"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light." (Matthew 11:28-30)

How do we begin our learning process? How do we begin our journey to the Kingdom? Let us listen to what Jesus has to say about this. “Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18-3)
Little children’s minds are still untouched by false beliefs as well as by religious and other superstitions. In order for us to take the first step to the Kingdom of Heaven, we must rid our minds of all false beliefs and cleanse our hearts of all superstitions.

“Becoming a child again” will renew our minds and transform our hearts into a believer of truth; and we will be ready to take our first step into the Kingdom of Heaven.

You have heard, all your life, about the Gospel. These are the Gospels according to Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These four Gospel writers gave us a glimpse of what Jesus was like and what Jesus taught. They wrote down the words of Jesus as they thought how His words were said or how it would have been said. These writers, however, did not tell us what they mean.

Rejoice, for this is the first day of your Eternal Now.

GOSPEL ACCORDING TO YOU series

Religion and Philosophy,Israel,Gospel,Gospel According to You
